For those new to Reborns and OOAK's or my Precious~Dreams babies, I am a long standing Artist within the World of Reborn and OOAK Babies, I have been offering my babies for adoption since 2003. I am a Tutor for Simply Reborn Online Classes and I also teach live on a regular basis.  I am lucky to have many babies displayed in a Doll Museum and they have now dedicated a section solely for my OOAK and Reborn Babies.

I have been lucky enough to Judge many Reborn and OOAK competition over the years, including IDEX, Colliii and DD Awards, and have been featured in many Magazine and news paper articles, including having 2 front cover babies for Discover Dolls Magazine.

I have taken the greatest care possible when painting this precious baby, each set of skin tones is laid down individually in such a way that the paint soaks into the vinyl leaving a flawless finish. I have also painted Stan's baby fine hair.

One of my favourite parts of the reborning process is making each baby ''feel'' real, I weight my babies so that they have the perfect balance, Buba's head will still need to be supported when you lift him. How can you resist the chance of just holding this beautiful baby in your arms as he gazes around thinking "Where's Mummy"

 

 

Baby Stan really does look and feel like a real newborn baby, he is so sweet and very realistic.  I have given Stan the most beautiful  soft peaches and cream complexion.  He even has his first freckle just appearing on his forhead!  You can not help, but look at this sweet baby and think he really is real! Stan has totally captured my heart and I am going to find it hard to send him to a new home, but I am confident that he will bring years of pleasure to his new Mum.

Baby Stan has my classic Precious Non-Painted look.

All of the colour you see is contained within the vinyl surface, not painted inside, but painted on the outside in such micro thin layers of paint. The technique I use allows the paint to actually soak into the vinyl surface, I then cured it to give such an authentic look and feel to the skin.  

I have taken some really close shots of Stan, you would not see this close with the naked eye, but I wanted you to see the beautiful detail in this baby's skin! Joshua's lips have been realistically coloured and then sealed with a satin varnish for durability. I have NOT used any texture on this baby, so his skin still feels soft and smooth to the touch.

Stan has beautiful Painted hair, I have always painted my OOAK Preemie sculpts and always loved the effect and illusion of very fine down like hair. Each strand of hair is individually painted to give a real sense of depth. He has a beautiful swirled crown.

I know painted hair is not to everyone’s taste, but it really does have to be seen to appreciate the realism it portraits.  Stan has the softest baby Brown hair and beautifully painted eyebrows, I have not given him any eyelashes as I felt it took away the realism of him newborn look, however I will happily add some at no extra charge if his new Mum would like them :)

 

Stan has a German made white doe suede body, he has traditional cotter pin (As used in quality Artist bears) jointed shoulders and hips which make posing him just so easy. There are NO cable ties used on this gorgeous baby boy.

Stan is filled with a combination of glass beads, baby fat and faux fleece; he is very soft and cuddly. His limbs are weighted with ultra granule glass beads making him the most life like and balanced babe.

Much time, love and commitment goes into each baby I create and for this reason I will no longer be accepting any Customer orders, My babies will only be available for sale here on eBay, on my Website/Shop or at the Doll Shows I exhibit at.
