For those new to Reborns and OOAK's or my Precious~Dreams babies, my name is Ruth, I am a military wife and mother to 5 fantastic children, I am a long standing Artist within the World of Reborn and OOAK Babies, I have been offering my babies for adoption now since 2003 and have adopted out over 300 babies to happy new Mums.

I am a Master Artist Tutor on the Simply Reborn Ltd. online classes, established in 2003 and having had over 1000 Reborn Artists pass through our classes. We have a great team of Master Artists offering their knowledge and guidance to our members. I LOVE to help other achieve their goals in the wonderful Art of Reborns.

In 2007 I was one of the Judges for the IDEX Reborn Competition in the USA, this was a great honour and I am please to announce I will be judging this contest again in Orlando in January. Precious~Dreams babies have appeared in several Magazines including having the FIRST Reborn front cover for Discover Dolls Magazine.

I am currently releasing a Series of Books, the first is a Photographical Reference of my babies.         The second is a Painting Tutorial book which includes 135 colour photographs and Extensive Instructional text. I am very Excited about this new venture :)

Baby Philip really does look and feel like a newborn baby, I really wanted to give him very intensive skin tones and enhance that very Grumpy little face, he has deep veins and lots of tiny capillaries. The detail in his skin is simply amazing! 

Philip has a multitude of very subtle blotches and baby blemishes whilst maintaining a beautiful soft complexion, he has tiny milk spots over his nose.

You can not help, but look at this sweet baby and think he really is real! I am going to find it extremely hard to send him to a new home, but I am confident that he will bring years of pleasure to his new Mum.

Baby Philip has my classic Precious Non-Painted look.

All of the colour you see is contained within the vinyl surface, not painted inside, but painted on the outside in such micro thin layers of paint.

The technique I use allows the paint to actually soak into the vinyl surface, I then cured it to give such an authentic look and feel to the skin.

Philip has beautiful Dark Brown hair, I have rooted him with a Newborn baby in mind, His hair is rooted in a directional manner which means it will be really easy to style.

I have given him slightly more sparse hair on the top and sides of his precious head, then I have hand rooted a thicker crown, to replicate how some real babies hair often grows.

I only ever use the best Mohair available to me, this hair has a beautiful sheen and is extremely soft to touch. You can easily style his hair by damping it and combing it through :) His head has been sealed inside using an odour free permanent and water resistant matt gel.

Philip has a German made white doe suede body, he has cotter pin jointed shoulders and hips, and along with his 1/4 Limbs this makes him so easy to pose.   Philip is filled with a combination of baby fat and faux fleece in his body;  The fabric part of his limbs are filled with fibre fill and glass beads in his elbows and knees, this makes curling him up really easy and gives a realistic weight to him. The vinyl parts of his limbs are weighted with ultra granule glass beads which is contained within fabric. His little head is weighted using glass beads and fibre fill,  making him the most life like and balanced babe.
