Baby Nicolas is a TRUE OOAK (One of A Kind)

I have hand sculpted Nicolas using Living Doll Polymer CLAY! He is sculpted over a strong aluminium foil armature. I worked closely from photographs of a newborn baby, and have sculpted him to SCALE of a 40 week Gestation baby.  As this baby is hand sculpted, there will NEVER be another one like him, I have not used any moulds whilst making Nicolas, and I have not taken any moulds of any part of this sculpture, so he will always be unique!

Nicolas is a scale Newborn baby, sculpted from scale from medical charts, and real baby pictures, this precious baby will capture the hearts of anyone who appreciates the fragility of a newborn  baby.  Nicolas has all the characteristics of a Real newborn baby.

For those new to Reborns and OOAK's or my Precious~Dreams babies, my name is Ruth, I am a military wife and mother to 5 fantastic children, I am a long standing Artist within the World of Reborn and OOAK Babies, I have been offering my babies for adoption now since 2003 and have adopted out over 300 babies to happy new Mums.

I am a Master Artist Tutor on the Simply Reborn Ltd. online classes, established in 2003 and having had over 1000 Reborn Artists pass through our classes. We have a great team of Master Artists offering their knowledge and guidance to our members. I LOVE to help other achieve their goals in the wonderful Art of Reborns.

I was one of the Judges for the IDEX Reborn Competition in the USA in 2007 & 2010, and have also been a judge for the Colliii awards for the past 3 years, this was a great honour. Precious~Dreams babies have appeared in several Magazines including having the FIRST Reborn front cover for Discover Dolls Magazine, and being the FIRST Artist to have two front cover babies, as my New Soon to be released kit "First Love" is featuring on the front cover of Issue #25.

Many of my babies are currently in the Bohemian Doll Museum in the Czech Republic. My Mini OOAK won the best of Show and People's Choice at IDEX 2010.

Nicolas has a German made doe suede body, he has cotter pin jointed shoulders and hips which make posing him just so easy, there are NO cable ties used on this baby, he has cord ties which are kinder to the clay.   He is filled with a combination of glass beads and faux fleece. Nicolas will come with his body plate, this fits comfortably over the front of his cloth body, giving you more posing options.
