Oli was created in October for promotional purposes at the International Doll shows, she has been displayed at the Discover doll Show in October 2009 , she also attended the Eschwege (Germany) Doll & Bear show in November 2009. She then travelled with me to IDEX in the USA in January 2010 before returning to the Discover Doll show in Peterborough in June where she was a huge hit, I was so proud when Ross Johnson got to hold her, and was overjoyed with this beautiful baby.

For those new to Reborns and OOAK's or my Precious~Dreams babies, my name is Ruth, I am a military wife and mother to 5 fantastic children, I am a long standing Artist within the World of Reborn and OOAK Babies, I have been offering my babies for adoption now since 2003 and have adopted out over 300 babies to happy new Mums.

I am a Master Artist Tutor on the Simply Reborn Ltd. online classes, established in 2003 and having had over 1000 Reborn Artists pass through our classes. We have a great team of Master Artists offering their knowledge and guidance to our members. I LOVE to help other achieve their goals in the wonderful Art of Reborns.

I was one of the Judges for the IDEX Reborn Competition in the USA in 2007 & 2010, this was a great honour. Precious~Dreams babies have appeared in several Magazines including having the FIRST Reborn front cover for Discover Dolls Magazine. Many of my babies are currently in the Bohemian Doll Museum in the Czech Republic.

To celebrate 6 Years of Reborning I have just released my first Book!

Baby Oli really does look and feel like a real baby and is so sweet and very realistic. Even though this baby is on the small side of a newborn baby, the weighting is perfect, Oli lays your arms and you just can't help but snuggle this amazing baby in close.

I have given Oli the most beautiful new baby skin tones, with a multitude of very subtle blotches and baby blemishes whilst maintaining a beautiful soft African American or Dark Skinned complexion.  

You can not help, but look at this sweet baby and think Oli really is real! This sweet baby has totally captured my heart and I am going to find it hard to send her to a new home, but I am confident that she will bring years of pleasure to her new Mum or Dad.

Baby Oli  has my classic Precious Non-Painted look.

All of the colour you see is contained within the vinyl surface, not painted inside, but painted on the outside in such micro thin layers of paint. The technique I use allows the paint to actually soak into the vinyl surface.

 I then cured it to give such an authentic look and feel to the skin.  I have taken some really close shots of  Oli's detailing, You would not see this close with the naked eye, but I wanted you to see the beautiful detail in this baby's skin!

her lips have been realistically coloured and then sealed with a satin varnish for durability. Oli has micro rooted  lashes.

Oli  has beautiful Painted hair, I have always painted my OOAK Preemie sculpts and always loved the effect and illusion of very fine down like hair. Each strand of hair is individually painted to give a real sense of depth. I know painted hair is not to everyone’s taste, but it really does have to be seen to appreciate the realism it portraits. I still love rooting, but am swaying more towards the painted hair with each baby I create. This cutie has very dark brown/black hair which has been carefully painted to include those beautiful soft *down* like hairs that new babies often have, he/she has beautifully painted eyebrows to match. I have NOT added any texture to her hair (or skin) as I wanted it to remain very soft and smooth to the touch.

Oli has a German made doe suede body, she has cotter pin jointed shoulders and hips which make posing her just so easy.   She is filled with a combination of baby fat and faux fleece in her body;  Her limbs are weighted with ultra granule glass beads which is contained within fabric. Her little head is weighted using glass beads and fibre fill,  making her the most life like and balanced babe.  "You just can not help but LOVE this baby"
