This low start price does not reflect Lyla's true value, I want to give everyone the chance of adopting a Precious Dreams baby.  I'm extremely lucky, as I have had the chance to love Baby Lyla throughout her creation, from sculpting her from clay, right through to her adoption, I have loved this sweet, fragile baby girl. I am confident when she arrives at her new home, she will be just as loved.

Lyla is a very Special baby indeed, She is my personal Artist Proof of my soon to be released kit "First Love" As the Original Artist it is not always easy to transform a kit that you sculpted from clay, but I am extremely proud of how this sweet baby came to life.

For those new to Reborns and OOAK's or my Precious~Dreams babies, I am a long standing Artist within the World of Reborn and OOAK Babies, I have been offering my babies for adoption since 2003. I am a Tutor for Simply Reborn Online Classes and I also teach live on a regular basis.

I have been lucky enough to Judge many Reborn and OOAK competition over the years, including IDEX, Colliii and DD Awards, and have been featured in many Magazine and news paper articles, including having 2 front cover babies for Discover Dolls Magazine.

Baby Lyla really does look and feel like a real Newborn baby she has very detailed preemie baby skin tones, including milia, capillaries, deep veining and little birthing blemishes, Preemie babies can have almost translucent skin when they are so tiny, I have tried to replicate this on Lyla's skin after studying many preemie photographs.
 
You can not help, but look at this sweet baby and think she really is real! Lyla has stollen my heart, I think out of the 322 babies I have previously adopted, this baby is going to be the hardest to let go of and send to a new home.

Baby Lyla has my classic Precious Non-Painted look.

All of the colour you see is contained within the vinyl surface, not painted inside, but painted on the outside in such micro thin layers of paint. The technique I use allows the paint to actually soak into the vinyl surface, I then cured it to give such an authentic look and feel to her skin.  

I have taken some really close shot of Lyla, you would not see this close with the naked eye, but I wanted you to see the beautiful detail in this baby's skin! Lyla's lips have been realistically coloured and then sealed with a satin varnish for durability.  I have NOT used any texture on this baby, so her skin still feels soft and smooth to the touch.

Lyla has beautiful Painted hair, I have always painted my OOAK Preemie sculpts and always loved the effect and illusion of very fine down like hair. Each strand of hair is individually painted to give a real sense of depth. She has a beautiful swirled crown and super fine hairs just like the fine baby downing often seen on babies.

I know painted hair is not to everyone’s taste, but it really does have to be seen to appreciate the realism it portraits.  Lyla has the darkest brown hair and beautifully painted eyebrows and human hair micro rooted eyelashes.

Lyla has a German made, white doe suede body, she has traditional cotter pin (As used in quality Artist bears) jointed shoulders and hips which make posing her just so easy. There are NO cable ties used on this gorgeous baby girl.

She is filled with a combination of glass beads, baby fat and faux fleece; so she is very soft and cuddly. Her limbs are weighted with ultra granule glass beads making her the most life like and balanced babe.
