For those new to Reborns and OOAK's or my Precious~Dreams babies, my name is Ruth, I am a military wife and mother to 5 fantastic children, I am a long standing Artist within the World of Reborn and OOAK Babies, I have been offering my babies for adoption now since 2003 and have adopted out over 300 babies to happy new Mums.

I am a Master Artist Tutor on the Simply Reborn Ltd. online classes, established in 2003 and having had over 1000 Reborn Artists pass through our classes. We have a great team of Master Artists offering their knowledge and guidance to our members. I LOVE to help other achieve their goals in the wonderful Art of Reborns.

I was one of the Judges for the IDEX Reborn Competition in the USA in 2007 & 2010, this was a great honour. Precious~Dreams babies have appeared in several Magazines including having the FIRST Reborn front cover for Discover Dolls Magazine. Many of my babies are currently in the Bohemian Doll Museum in the Czech Republic.

To celebrate 6 Years of Reborning I have just released my first Book!

Baby Lola~May really does look and feel like a real baby, She started life as a roll of foil, some paper tape and a couple of blocks of Polymer Clay, I have really enjoyed creating this little one and will find it hard to send her to her new home.

It is extremely RARE for me to offer a full term Sculpted baby for adoption, I usually sculpt Mini babies, Monkey's and Preemie babies, so this baby is rather special.

Having been a Reborn Artist and used to working with vinyl, one of my biggest challenges whist sculpting was to achieve that perfectly smooth finish to the clay. I have to say Lola~May has very soft, smooth skin! I really wanted to give her very subtle and soft skin tones, she has the most beautiful "Peaches & Cream" complexion without forgoing any of the depth that real skin has, the detail in her skin is simply amazing! 

I have given her a "hint" of hair, hand painted in a soft baby Brown/red tone.

Below are some VERY CLOSE SHOTS so you can really see the details, obviously you would never see this close with the naked eye, but I feel it is very important to show all the details in the sculpting.
 

Lola~May has a German made doe suede body with cord ties (not cable ties), she has cotter pin jointed shoulders and hips which make posing her just so easy.   She is filled with a combination of baby fat and faux fleece in her body;  making her the most life like and balanced babe.
