Katie started as the now Extremely RARE Bella kit, sculpted by world renowned sculptor Maribel Valles Villanova, Thank you to Maribel for sculpting such a precious and completely delightful baby, this baby really is special!

For those new to Reborns and OOAK's or my Precious~Dreams babies, I am a long standing Artist within the World of Reborn and OOAK Babies, I have been offering my babies for adoption since 2003. I am a Tutor for Simply Reborn Online Classes and I also teach live on a regular basis.

Baby Katie really does look and feel like a real baby of around 5-6 Months old, she is so sweet and very realistic. You certainly know when you have this baby in your arms!

I have given Katie the most beautiful new baby skin tones, she has a multitude of very subtle blotches and baby blemishes whilst maintaining a beautiful soft complexion.

 
You can not help, but look at this sweet baby and think she really is real! Katie has totally captured my heart and I am going to find it hard to send her to a new home, but I am confident that she will bring years of pleasure to her new Mum.

Baby Katie has my classic Precious Non-Painted look.

All of the colour you see is contained within the vinyl surface, not painted inside, but painted on the outside in such micro thin layers of paint. The technique I use allows the paint to actually soak into the vinyl surface, I then cured it to give such an authentic look and feel to her skin.  

I have taken some really close shots of Katie, you would not see this close with the naked eye, but I wanted you to see the beautiful detail in this baby's skin! Katie's lips have been realistically coloured and then sealed with a satin varnish for durability. I have NOT used any texture on this baby, so her skin still feels soft and smooth to the touch.

Katie has beautiful Painted hair, I have always painted my OOAK Preemie sculpts and always loved the effect and illusion of very fine down like hair. Each strand of hair is individually painted to give a real sense of depth. She has a beautiful swirled crown and super fine hairs just like the fine baby downing often seen on babies.

I know painted hair is not to everyone’s taste, but it really does have to be seen to appreciate the realism it portraits.  Katie has baby Brown hair and beautifully painted eyebrows and wispy eyelashes to frame her beautiful dark Blue eyes.

Katie has a German made white doe suede body, she has traditional cotter pin (As used in quality Artist bears) jointed shoulders and hips which make posing her just so easy. There are NO cable ties used on this gorgeous baby girl.

Katie is filled with a combination of glass beads, baby fat and faux fleece; she is very soft and cuddly. Her limbs are weighted with ultra granule glass beads making her the most life like and balanced babe.
