For those new to Reborns and OOAK's or my Precious~Dreams babies, my name is Ruth, I am a military wife and mother to 5 fantastic children, I am a long standing Artist within the World of Reborn and OOAK Babies, I have been offering my babies for adoption now since 2003 and have adopted out nearly 300 babies to happy new Mums.

I am a Master Artist Tutor on the Simply Reborn Ltd. online classes, established in 2003 and having had over 1000 Reborn Artists pass through our classes. We have a great team of Master Artists offering their knowledge and guidance to our members. I LOVE to help other achieve their goals in the wonderful Art of Reborns.

In 2007 I was one of the Judges for the IDEX Reborn Competition in the USA, this was a great honour and I am please to announce I will be judging this contest again in Orlando in January.

 Precious~Dreams babies have appeared in several Magazines including having the FIRST Reborn front cover for Discover Dolls Magazine. Many of my Precious Babies have been bought by the *Bohemian Doll Museum* and are now on display in the Czech Republic.

Baby Christian really does look and feel like a newborn baby, I really wanted to give him very soft and subtle mixed race skin tones, he has such a beautiful soft complexion. I have not added veining and capillaries to his skin, and I have only lightly blushed him, he is not as intensely painted as either my Caucasian babies or indeed my Black babies usually are.

You can not help, but look at this sweet baby and think he really is real! Baby Christian has totally captured my heart and I am going to find it hard to send him to a new home, but I am confident that he will bring years of pleasure to his new Mum.

Baby Christian has my classic Precious Non-Painted look.

All of the colour you see is contained within the vinyl surface, not painted inside, but painted on the outside in such micro thin layers of paint. The technique I use allows the paint to actually soak into the vinyl surface, I then cured it to give such an authentic look and feel to his skin.  

Baby Christian has beautiful Painted hair, I have always painted my OOAK Preemie sculpts and always loved the effect and illusion of very fine down like hair. Each strand of hair is individually painted to give a real sense of depth.

I know painted hair is not to everyone’s taste, but it really does have to be seen to appreciate the realism it portraits. I still love rooting, but like to offer something a little different too. Christian has dark brown hair and beautifully painted eyebrows to match. His eyelashes are rooted using human baby hair, then trimmed. I have added just a little moisture to the outside corners of his eyes too!

Christian has a German made doe suede body, he has cotter pin jointed shoulders and hips which make posing him just so easy.   He is filled with a combination of baby fat and faux fleece in his body;  His limbs are weighted with ultra granule glass beads which is contained within fabric. His little head is weighted using glass beads and fibre fill,  making him the most life like and balanced babe.
