Amelia was painted in our LIVE Reborn Class in October where I was Tutoring, but I have only just managed to get her finished and ready for adoption, we had great fun in the class with 18 Students.

Her Twin Sister Nancy was painted in our LIVE Demonstrations in October, she is available in a separate auction :O)

For those new to Reborns and OOAK's or my Precious~Dreams babies, my name is Ruth, I am a military wife and mother to 5 fantastic children, I am a long standing Artist within the World of Reborn and OOAK Babies, I have been offering my babies for adoption now since 2003 and have adopted out nearly 300 babies to happy new Mums.

I am a Master Artist Tutor on the Simply Reborn Ltd. online classes, established in 2003 and having had over 1000 Reborn Artists pass through our classes. We have a great team of Master Artists offering their knowledge and guidance to our members. I LOVE to help other achieve their goals in the wonderful Art of Reborns.

Baby Amelia really does look and feel like a real baby of around 5-6 Months old, she is so sweet and very realistic. You certainly know when you have this baby in your arms!

I have given Amelia the most beautiful new baby skin tones, she has a multitude of very subtle blotches and baby blemishes whilst maintaining a beautiful soft complexion.  I have given her a hand sculpted tongue, and added very natural looking spit bubbles to her little open mouth.

You can not help, but look at this sweet baby and think she really is real! Amelia has totally captured my heart and I am going to find it hard to send her to a new home, but I am confident that she will bring years of pleasure to her new Mum.

All of the colour you see is contained within the vinyl surface, not painted inside, but painted on the outside in such micro thin layers of paint. The technique I use allows the paint to actually soak into the vinyl surface, I then cured it to give such an authentic look and feel to her skin.

Amelia has beautiful Painted hair, I have always painted my OOAK Preemie sculpts and always loved the effect and illusion of very fine down like hair. Each strand of hair is individually painted to give a real sense of depth.

I know painted hair is not to everyone’s taste, but it really does have to be seen to appreciate the realism it portraits. I still love rooting, but like to offer something a little different too. Amelia has baby Brown hair and beautifully painted eyebrows to match. Her eyelashes are human baby hair.

Amelia has a German made doe suede body, she has cotter pin jointed shoulders and hips which make posing her just so easy.   Amelia is filled with a combination of glass beads and faux fleece; she is very soft and cuddly. Her limbs are weighted with ultra granule glass beads making her the most life like and balanced babe.
