The kits have been cast directly from the Original sculpt, this allows each kit to retain every single little detail that was in the sculpt, for me as a Reborn & Sculpting Artist as well as a producer of kits, this was an amazing experience to Reborn this kit, it was like painting the actual One Of A Kind sculpted doll.

For those new to Reborns and OOAK's or my Precious~Dreams babies, my name is Ruth, I am a military wife and mother to 5 fantastic children, I am a long standing Artist within the World of Reborn and OOAK Babies, I have been offering my babies for adoption now since 2003 and have adopted out over 300 babies to happy new Mums.

I am a Master Artist Tutor on the Simply Reborn Ltd. online classes, established in 2003 and having had over 1000 Reborn Artists pass through our classes. We have a great team of Master Artists offering their knowledge and guidance to our members. I LOVE to help other achieve their goals in the wonderful Art of Reborns.

I was one of the Judges for the IDEX Reborn Competition in the USA in 2007 & 2010, this was a great honour. Many of my babies are currently in the Bohemian Doll Museum in the Czech Republic.

Baby Amber really does look and feel like a real baby, I really wanted to give her a soft newborn skin tone, she has the most beautiful Newborn complexion without forgoing any of the depth that real skin has, the detail in her skin is simply amazing! 

You can not help, but look at this sweet baby and think she really is real!  I am going to find it so very hard to send her to a new home, but I am confident that she will bring years of pleasure to her new Mum or Dad.

All of the colour you see is contained within the vinyl surface, not painted inside, but painted on the outside in such micro thin layers of paint.

The technique I use allows the paint to actually soak into the vinyl surface, I then cured it to give such an authentic look and feel to her skin.  I have taken some really close shots of Amber's face,
You would not see this close with the naked eye, but I wanted you to see the beautiful detail in this baby's skin!

I am thrilled with how Amber's hair developed, I have hand painted it in a beautiful shade of Red/Brown, she has the perfectly formed swirl in her crown, and her hair is directionally painted as it would naturally grow. I have NOT added any texture to her hair (or skin) as I wanted it to remain very soft and smooth to the touch.

Amber has a German made doe suede body, she has cotter pin jointed shoulders and hips which make posing her just so easy.   She is filled with a combination of baby fat and faux fleece in her body;  Her limbs are weighted with ultra granule glass beads which is contained within fabric. Her little head is weighted using glass beads and fibre fill,  making her the most life like and balanced babe.  "You just can not help but LOVE this baby"
